Siljá Somby (14.08.71) from Sirma.
Attended high school in France (Bac A1) before she returned to Sápmi and worked as a freelancer in various journalistic companies as well as artistic projects. Attended Lillehammer college studying directing for film, video and TVbetween 1994-96. Worked then again as a freelancer for a number of projects including film projects. Released the shortfilm "Back to Sáivu" in 2001. Has been working with the Sámi Film Festival and is currently studying at the Master of Indigenous Program at the University of Tromsø.
