BST is run as a limited company with the following shareholders: The Norwegian Government/Sami Parliament, the municipalityof Kautokeinoand two Sami organizations NSR (Norske Samers Riksforbund) and SLF (Samenes Landsforbund). The two Sami organizations, NSR and SLF, alternate for one seat of the board and deputy member respectively. The constitution of the board is as follows (2008 – 2012):
