He has a high school degree in vocational training. He has also military educational training.
He has been working on and off the Beaivvá Sámi Theatre since 1981, and became a permanent member of the cast in 1999.
He is a musician, and was the vocalist of the legendary group Captain Morgan.
In the theatre he has been working as a director assistant and as well as a director. He has experince from filmwork, for instance Pathfinder (1987). He speaks Norwegian, Sámi, Finnish and English.
